Job Summary
: The role will strategically source, negotiate, and manage vendors for services and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and operational continuity.
The role will handle tender processes, contract lifecycles, and supplier performance while managing budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- **Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation:**
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
- **Contract Management:**
- Manage the full tender process, including RFP/RFQ preparation, bid evaluations, contract drafting, and renewals.
- **Supplier Performance:**
- Maintain a preferred supplier list, conducting annual performance reviews, audits, and managing vendor relationships.
- **Cost Management:**
- Drive cost-saving initiatives to meet budgetary goals while balancing quality standards and supply security.
- **Compliance & Risk:**
- Ensure vendor compliance with local laws (e.g., HSE regulations) and manage risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
- **Operations Support:**
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services to support operational uptime.
Requirements
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum 5–10 years in procurement, with specialized experience in Facilities Management or Total Facilities Management (TFM).
- **Skills:**
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
- **Technical Proficiency:**
Experience
- with ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle).
- **Certification:**
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or similar certification is highly desirable.
