Job Summary

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective planning and project control strategies across multiple projects within the Qiddiya portfolio
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules using industry-standard software
• Facilitate project monitoring activities, ensuring accurate tracking of progress against agreed baselines
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation measures to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and costs
• Collaborate closely with various teams, including engineering, construction, and finance, to ensure integrated project delivery
• Establish and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure compliance with project controls procedures
• Mentor and lead the project controls team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Conduct lessons learned sessions and post-project reviews to capture insights beneficial for future projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a master's degree is advantageous
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in planning and project controls management within large-scale infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated expertise in planning tools, particularly Oracle Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk management and earned value management (EVM)
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide a team of project control professionals
• Experience in the entertainment, leisure, or infrastructure sectors is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or equivalent are highly desirable
