What you will do

  • Own end-to-end media strategy and planning for theatrical releases across digital, television, out-of-home, print, radio, cinema and emerging platforms.
  • Translate audience data, market potential, campaign objectives and cultural insight into clear investment choices, channel roles and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead digital and performance marketing across platforms such as YouTube, Meta, Google, connected TV/OTT and programmatic media, continually optimising against agreed KPIs.
  • Develop creator and influencer strategies that are relevant to each title, audience and market, with a focus on conversation, fandom and organic amplification as well as paid reach.
  • Assess creators using audience fit, engagement quality, content performance, cultural relevance, brand suitability and return on investment, not follower count alone.
  • Partner with media agencies, creators, platforms and media owners; negotiate commercial value, secure innovative opportunities and hold partners accountable for quality and outcomes.
  • Build measurement frameworks and dashboards that connect reach, frequency, engagement, search, social signals, creator performance, ticketing trends and campaign efficiency.
  • Use real-time signals to recommend changes in audience, channel, creative or spend across trailer launch, advance booking, opening weekend and sustained release periods.
  • Establish benchmarks and post-campaign learning that improve planning, investment and performance from one title to the next.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, digital, publicity, creative, distribution and regional stakeholders to deliver joined-up release campaigns.
  • What we are looking for
  • Typically 5-8 years of experience in media strategy, media planning, digital/performance marketing or marketing analytics, gained in entertainment, streaming, consumer technology, e-commerce, FMCG, telecoms, sports or another fast-moving consumer category.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, media, commerce or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing integrated media plans and managing meaningful campaign budgets across digital and traditional channels.
  • Strong analytical capability, including confidence with dashboards, campaign measurement, attribution concepts and turning data into clear recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of India's media landscape, audience behaviours, regional and cultural nuance, and the creator ecosystem.
  • Commercial judgement and proven negotiation skills with agencies, platforms, publishers, media owners or creators.
  • A creator mindset: able to spot new audience, content and partnership opportunities, test ideas and learn quickly.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decisions.
  • Able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple campaigns and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfort operating with pace, ownership and accountability in a deadline-driven release environment.
  • Please note that this role is based in Mumbai, India. In order to enable us to meet statutory and regulatory obligations of the Indian immigration system you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in India for the duration of the employment.
  • The profile that will thrive
  • You are equally comfortable discussing audience strategy, reviewing a dashboard, negotiating with a partner and shaping a creator idea. You ask good questions, bring an informed point of view and use evidence rather than convention to make decisions. This is not a media or influencer coordination role. It is an opportunity to own the connection between audience insight, culture, creators, media investment and commercial outcomes.
