About the role
Lead development of production AI agents for Workday's HR and Finance business.
Agent Factory builds cross-functional AI products embedded in the Workday platform for customers at global scale.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and mentor an engineering team; ensure timely, high-quality delivery of AI agents.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product managers, data scientists, stakeholders, architects, and principal engineers.
- Evaluate and integrate LLMs, RAG, and orchestration frameworks; collaborate with vendors and open-source communities.
- Ensure privacy, security, compliance, scalability, and reliability; implement testing, monitoring, and feedback loops.
- Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Basic qualifications
- At least 7 years of engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of engineering leadership delivering products at scale, focused on AI/ML and cloud-based systems.
Other qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with enterprise-grade AI architectures, API integration, and large-scale automation.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Workday platform experience is a strong plus.
Pay
- Annualized base salary range for Vancouver, BC: CAD $169,600–$254,400.
- The role may be eligible for a bonus plan or role-specific commission/bonus and annual stock refresh grants.
