Workplace

• Hybrid role with an expectation to work in the office at least 3 days a week.
• Listed office locations include Toronto, Denver, Raleigh, Holmdel, Philadelphia, and Chicago.

What you'll deliver

• Work with product, engineering, and design teams to shape legal technology products and features, including Kira.
• Experiment with and test generative AI; create prompts for accurate extraction of information from document sets.
• Design, conduct, and analyze robust AI testing and oversee testing outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of legal-domain developments and identify opportunities for product capabilities.
• Identify process efficiencies and share best practices; guide Legal Knowledge Engineering Associates.

Must-have qualifications

• 4+ years practicing transactional law in a large law firm, in-house, or legal service provider.
• Hands-on AI experience in prompting, training, or building AI-driven products.
• JD and admission to the bar in at least one state or province.
• Strong interest in legal technology and artificial intelligence; strong client service and written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Legal operations, program management, or contract management systems experience is a plus.
• Prior technology company experience, workflow improvement, comfort with unfamiliar technology, analytical problem-solving, and handling multiple priorities are desirable.

Compensation

• Annual salary range for Canada applicants is CAD 150,000–180,000.
• For Colorado, New Jersey, and Illinois applicants, base salary range is USD 110,000–130,000; role is also eligible for a company bonus plan.
• Final compensation depends on qualifications and experience; benefits are subject to eligibility.
