Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures to monitor food-safety and quality specifications for assigned products and support franchise and company-store operations.
• Manage supplier compliance through audits, product evaluations, laboratory testing, and data management.
• Oversee food-processor audits, ensure annual third-party audits, conduct 30% of audits, and recommend corrective actions.
• Commercialize core and innovative products with international suppliers in support of menu standards.
• Develop secondary sourcing and approve plants and suppliers for global, regional, and local DTV goals.
• Supervise and coach international QA staff, manage performance and development, and influence regional QA strategy.
• Achieve program results above 95%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, meat science, microbiology, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in food-processing QA or operations.
• Knowledge of food science, HACCP, food-processing technology and equipment, and microbiology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of statistical analysis and statistical process control.
• Travel expectation is 50%.
