Policies & Procedures
Ensure implementation, maintenance, and adherence to group financial policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial reporting and implement enhancements.
Accounting & Financial Reporting
Manage preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group.
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Review financial results and trends, providing analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Maintain accurate intercompany reconciliations and ensure alignment with group entities.
Collaborate with departments such as tax, legal, and treasury for integrated reporting compliance.
Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and implement required updates.
Risk Management & Compliance
Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
Ensure compliance with insurance policies and coordinate renewals and claims management.
Manage reporting and compliance related to Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax.
Ensure documentation and recordkeeping meets regulatory and audit standards
Audit Management
Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring the audit process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Address and close audit observations and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
Team Leadership
Lead, train, and mentor a team of financial reporting accountants.
Establish clear objectives and monitor performance to ensure continuous improvement.
Support the Financial Controller with special projects and strategic financial analysis as required.
