A Restaurant Manager in Qatar directs daily Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations.
Responsibilities
include managing staff, enforcing strict hygiene and municipality regulations, controlling costs and inventory, and driving profitability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
1. Operations & Compliance
- **Local Regulations:** Ensure strict adherence to Qatar municipality requirements, food safety standards, and hygiene codes.
- **Daily Execution:** Oversee opening, closing, and smooth workflow across shifts.
- **Delivery Logistics:** Manage third-party delivery apps (e.g., Talabat, Snoonu) and dispatching standards.
2. Staff Management
- **Scheduling & Payroll:** Maintain up-to-date duty rosters, leave planning, and attendance tracking.
- **Training & Motivation:** Conduct pre-shift briefings, train staff on proper hospitality etiquette, and monitor performance.
3. Financial & Inventory Control
- **Cost Management:** Prepare P&L statements, control operational expenses, and minimize waste.
- **Stock Monitoring:** Maintain proper inventory levels, order F&B supplies, and conduct regular stock takes.
4. Guest Satisfaction & Marketing
- **Customer Service:** Resolve guest complaints professionally and maintain high hospitality standards.
- **Reputation Management:** Monitor online reviews and coordinate with management to promote campaigns.
Typical Qualifications & Requirements
- **Experience:** 4 to 8 years of F&B operations experience (with at least 2+ years in a managerial role).
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Skills:** Strong proficiency in POS systems, financial reporting, team management, and bilingual communication
- Pay: QAR3,300.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
