Responsibilities for the Manager, Engineering

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of full stack developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and enhancements
• Contribute to technology roadmap and modernization initiatives
• Drive the software development process from planning, design, and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance

• Work closely with the US-based teams to align development efforts with the overall company strategy and vision
• Perform people management duties, and provide mentorship that encourages a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Qualifications of the Manager, Engineering

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with extensive expertise in Microsoft technologies, 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large development teams (15+ members) in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience in AWS Cloud Services
• Demonstrable familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and ability to integrate them into team workflows
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Manager, Engineering
• Experience building scalable, high-performance SaaS systems
• Strong knowledge of database query development, with hands-on experience in SQL Server
• Familiarity with observability tools such as New Relic
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams, cultures, and time zones to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
• Expertise in API design, and integration patterns
