Team and role

Responsibilities

• Support identification, build, and deployment of automation and digital workflow solutions.
• Map processes and quantify manual effort; support target workflow design, including exception handling and controls.
• Draft requirements and documentation for review with IT and the Transformation Office.
• Build and execute test scripts, run UAT, and track defects through resolution.
• Support deployment with user guidance and training material.
• Track post-launch usage and benefits, flag adoption issues, and maintain project documentation, trackers, and status reports.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations, with exposure to automation or process improvement.
• Solid technical knowledge of private assets processes and their manual steps.
• Exposure to automation tooling, workflow design, or testing, or a clear appetite to develop in that direction.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage several work items.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel; reporting, workflow, or automation tooling exposure is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; working toward a professional accounting designation is an advantage.
• Comfortable questioning manual processes and substantiating improvements.

Compensation

• Salary range: CAD 111,000–133,000.
