Manager, Data Integration

Role overview

Technical leadership and delivery

• Set standards for integration development, maintenance, handoffs, and code ownership.
• Use JavaScript knowledge to support DI Studio code and complex technical troubleshooting.
• Guide team adoption and review of AI coding tools, including Claude Code and Codex.
• Manage defect triage, prioritization, and resolution using Jira and SDLC practices.
• Deliver ETL solutions for data imports, transformations, and modeling; maintain integrations after go-live.
• Document repeatable practices and establish certification for new engineers, consultants, and partners.

Team and collaboration

• Lead and scale a team of 6 or more Integration Consultants and Engineers, allocating resources across projects.
• Manage results using speed, quality, and renewal-readiness KPIs; conduct one-to-ones, performance reviews, and career conversations.
• Partner weekly with Product and Engineering on integration challenges, bugs, and product improvements.
• Contribute integration expertise to sales and work with Customer Success to identify renewal-risk signals.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years leading teams that build and maintain software integrations, with code ownership and post-go-live accountability.
• Experience implementing vendor ETL solutions using customer data imports, transformations, and modeling.
• Hands-on SQL and data automation experience in an integration context.
• Experience connecting systems through Cloud APIs and knowledge of middleware such as SnapLogic, Boomi, or MuleSoft.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and their key tables and data structures.
• JavaScript knowledge to read, troubleshoot, and support integration code.
• Experience directing a team's use of AI coding tools and managing defect tracking with Jira and SDLC practices.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, able to travel internationally, and hold a valid passport.

• Experience scaling a technical function using KPIs to balance speed, quality, and cost.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to influence roadmaps.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Compensation

• Total target compensation is CAD 140,000 to CAD 160,000; actual compensation depends on skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
