What You Will Do

  • As the manager you will play a key role in evaluating and executing acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, and developing new business opportunities.
  • The position entails extensive interaction with business unit and corporate senior management and provides early project leadership responsibility. Managers develop excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills while building a rich base of knowledge within the media and entertainment industry from a ‘principal’ perspective. Managers gain exposure to the executive decision-making process and have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of The Walt Disney Company.

  • Excellent record of academic and professional achievement
  • Strong accounting, finance, modeling, valuation, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
  • A team-oriented attitude and an enthusiasm for mentoring junior team members
  • A passion for both business and media & entertainment
  • Required Education
  • MBA

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience at a top tier investment bank, private equity, or comparable corporate development group within a major media and entertainment company

  • The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $141,300.00 to $189,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
