Description We are currently recruiting for Manager Business Intelligence, within Ground Services - Management in Doha.
In this role, you will be managing the Data and Analytics Team, providing long- and short-term business intelligence, metrics and data analysis within Ground Services Management Division and across the different areas of Ground Services. You will also be responsible to lead the develop business change and providing analytical evidence for strategic plans to support the continuing growth of the organization and ensure the best available analysis and metrics are available to decision makers. You will also provide analytical and project management support in the development of divisional strategic plans, digital dashboards, initiatives and special projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Seek, understand and evaluate the future reporting requirements and data analysis strategy of Ground Services and design new analytical and reporting processes and advise the operational senior management regarding any relevant changes in strategy or operational performance.
- Design and implement a standard methodology of delivery of reports and submissions including data extraction, evaluation, report design, analysis, and quality control.
- Work closely with PMO team to develop project management methodologies, process improvement frameworks and implementation of quality models to achieve agreed KPIs and scorecards.
- Drive and oversee comprehensive data collection and analytical activities to enable informed decision-making for the annual budget process and ongoing operational requirements; provide senior management with continuous research support and analytical insight, including model validation and development, to strengthen day-to-day budget monitoring and ensure data-driven financial planning.
- Ensure research and analysis is conducted on a regular basis with an objective of improving Ground Services performance and minimizing cost in developing long term plans to assess strategic departmental goals.
- Define, develop, review, and enhance analytical reports, dashboards, and business documentation to ensure usability, readability, and align with GS strategy.
- Evaluate and assess existing analytics and operational reports for entire Ground Services usability, readability, and performance, and produce evidence-based solutions to operational management to enhance their effectiveness and strategic value.
- Assess departmental performance against international benchmarks by leading and designing measurement of key performance metrics so the department has actionable and robust metrics in place to drive business improvement and is at the forefront of good practice.
- Apply effective concepts, technical principles, and theories of operational research and advanced analytics to provide the most accurate analysis and documentation of the relevant systems of components.
- Determine and develop solutions to a wide range of issues related to the many separate data sources to integrate this varying data into a unified output and responsible for the resolution or defects or faults within the relevant systems.
- Produce rigorous statistical analyses by applying approved methodologies and performing advanced mathematical calculations to evaluate the viability of current processes, requirements, and standards, and generate evidence-based recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the interface and communication between technical (DCS team and IT) and business teams to ensure analytical input and guidance to development plans are exchanged, which results in optimized process integration.
- Identify and priorities key systems development requirements that meet strategic objectives of the department and communicate changes, their impact, reasons and required actions to the respective stakeholders.
- Develop robust business cases and secure required approvals and resources for system development. support senior management by preparing high-quality executive briefing materials and supporting documentation to effectively communicate plans and recommendations to executive management (VPs/SVP).
- Continuous management of systems to enhance business performance in providing guidance to Ground Services operational teams.
- Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience, Previous experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
Essential
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Must demonstrate ability to think strategically and formulate strategic plans to drive cross departmental initiatives.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills and facility for establishing relationship cross functionality and cross-divisionally. Command of English language.
- Intermediate/advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills.
- Intermediate/advanced level of programming and developing live Digital Dashboards, using business intelligence and data analytics like Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, others.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills.
- Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
Preferred
- Understanding of Ground Services and performance management functions.
- Grasp of commercial impacts and financial/budgetary work.
- Aware of regulatory requirements and policies.
- Aware QR procedures and guidelines.
