Manager, Business Analysis / Technology Consulting

Your Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis planning, elicitation, documentation, validation, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Define current and future state processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Prepare business cases, requirements documents, process flows, user stories, use cases, and solution documentation.
• Coordinate alignment among business stakeholders, technical teams, developers, QA teams, and project leadership.
• Support agile and waterfall delivery through backlog planning, sprint planning, prioritization, and traceability.
• Lead or support test strategy, test planning, test cases, defect management, UAT, and functionality validation.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and business readiness considerations.
• Coach and mentor business analysts, consultants, and project team members.
• Support estimates, resource planning, proposals, RFP responses, and solution scoping.
• Develop training materials and deliver training or knowledge transfer sessions.
• Build client relationships and contribute across multiple engagements and industries.
• Participate in hiring, talent attraction, team building, and internal practice development.

Experience and Education

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, technology consulting, project delivery, or a related role.
• Experience leading business analysis on complex technology implementation or software development projects.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle from requirements through post-go-live support.
• Experience in both agile and waterfall delivery environments.
• Ability to produce high-quality project documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, test plans, and training materials.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across clients, business users, developers, QA teams, project managers, and senior leaders.
• Experience supporting QA, UAT, defect management, and test planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring or leading analysts, consultants, or project teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple client engagements.
• Proposal, RFP, estimation, or business development experience is an asset.
• Relevant certifications and experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, Azure DevOps/TFS, Jira, or similar tools are assets.

Compensation

• Expected annual compensation is $112,000 to $168,000.

Flexibility

• The role uses a flexible hybrid work arrangement.
• BDO personnel are expected to spend time in the office, at client sites, and virtually unless alternative arrangements are in place.
