Manager, AI Delivery

Role overview

Delivery and leadership

• Own portfolio delivery outcomes, roadmap, capacity planning, sequencing, quality, release readiness, and budget tracking.
• Manage and develop delivery team members, set priorities, coach staff, clear obstacles, and distribute initiative ownership.
• Review prototypes, prompts, agent designs, requirements, code, and designs; maintain delivery and evaluation standards.

Prioritization and technical judgment

• Assess AI requests for data and business readiness, feasibility, accuracy, verifiability, and build-versus-buy fit.
• Quantify business value with sponsors, establish baselines, validate benefits, and defer or stop work that will not pay off.
• Guide LLM applications, agentic workflows, retrieval and context, API/MCP integration, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Maintain lifecycle practices, enterprise governance, security, data access, instrumentation, architecture standards, and vendor assessment.

Stakeholder and vendor work

• Translate technical constraints into business terms and business requests into buildable scope; communicate trade-offs and difficult decisions.
• Manage vendor and partner delivery, scope, quality, change control, and commercial escalations; report progress, risk, and value to leadership.

Required experience

• At least 5 years delivering technology solutions, including at least 2 years managing people or leading a delivery team.
• Have shipped LLM- or ML-based solutions and be able to discuss model selection, prompt and agent design, evaluation, accuracy trade-offs, and when AI is unsuitable.
• Use AI tools daily and be able to demonstrate work built with them.
• Demonstrated experience prioritizing under constraint, quantifying business value, and capacity planning across competing initiatives.
• Experience with software development projects, environments, code review, CI/CD, and release management.
• Strong communication, emotional intelligence, ambiguity judgment, and ability to mentor junior staff while working with senior experts.

Preferred experience

• Commercial real estate, asset management, or financial services background is an asset.
• Python or TypeScript coding, Azure, Microsoft 365, Fabric, Power Platform, API/MCP integration, Yardi or comparable ERP, Agile delivery, vendor/SOW management, and benefit measurement are assets.

Compensation

• Expected annualized base salary range is CAD 140,000–CAD 160,000.
• The total rewards package may include performance incentives, health and dental benefits, pension, and paid time off.
