Position Overview

Manager – Account Receivable is responsible for leading and overseeing the end-to-end accounts receivable function to ensure timely collection of outstanding revenues, accurate invoicing, and effective credit control. The role aims to optimize cash flow, minimize credit risk, and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers. This position ensures compliance with financial policies, enhances process efficiency through continuous improvement, and provides strategic insights on receivables performance to support the organization’s financial health and working capital objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities as Manager – Account Receivable will include the following:

Process Improvement & Automation:

• Evaluate current AR processes and implement automation, AI tools, and ERP enhancements to increase efficiency.
• Standardize global AR procedures across regions and business units.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using KPIs and root cause analysis

Leadership & Cross Functional Influence:

• Lead and mentor a high performing AR team, setting strategic goals aligned with finance objectives.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Treasury, and Customer Success to resolve complex disputes and improve customer payment behavior.
• Influence senior leadership with data driven insights and strategic recommendations.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management:

• Establish and enforce AR policies, credit limits, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations (including UAE VAT), and internal audit requirements.
• Oversee management of high-risk accounts and escalate issues proactively.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Deliver executive level dashboards on DSO, aging, cash flow projections, and collection effectiveness.
• Provide strategic insights on customer segments, payment cycles, and credit exposure.
• Benchmark AR performance against industry standards

Position Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you should have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
• 7–10+ years of AR experience, including senior or strategic leadership roles.
• Proven success in AR transformation, automation, or large-scale process improvement.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite) and analytics tools.
