Role Description
We are hiring a Strategy Consultant to join as our first full-time hire.
You will be the analytical and delivery engine behind HaZal's client engagements.
The Managing Director handles all client-facing communication and mandate origination; your job is to produce the thinking, frameworks, and deliverables that win and retain clients.
This is a high-ownership role with broad exposure across strategy, corporate finance, and advisory work.

What You Will Do
- Translate client briefs into structured analytical work: market sizing, competitive positioning, business model assessment, and strategic options
- Develop high-quality deliverables including strategy reports, pitch decks, investment memos, and advisory presentations
- Conduct market research on UAE and KSA industries, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments
- Support financial modeling and valuation work as required across fundraising and M&A engagements
- Build reusable frameworks and templates that improve HaZal's delivery quality and speed
- Maintain quality control on all output before it reaches the Managing Director for client review
Qualifications
- Masters degree in business, economics or engineering with a strong record of academic achievement
- 3 to 6 years of experience at a management consulting firm, Big 4 strategy practice, or boutique advisory firm
- Strong structured thinking with the ability to move from ambiguous brief to clear, well-reasoned recommendation
- 3+ years’ experience in project delivery and project management / PMO implementation, preferably in a consulting environment
- Proven experience in business transformation or business change initiatives, such as capability building, digital transformation, transformation office setup and execution, operational excellence, turnaround execution, finance transformation, or supply chain transformation
- Excellent written English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage
- Familiar with Gulf business context, specifically UAE and KSA market dynamics
- High output quality with genuine attention to detail in documents and analysis
- Ability to thrive in a flexible and agile consulting environment & Strong, pragmatic problem-solving skills
