Join a large regional employer undergoing significant growth and change.
The role is for an accountant who can work independently, take initiative, and help improve business results rather than only report numbers.
Finance and systems work
- Initially focus on a new ERP implementation, including data integrity, cost centres, reporting, and improving information for business decisions.
- Sharpen cash-flow forecasting, build budgets, and analyze costs.
- Work with a new payroll system as the business implements changes.
- Help improve financial results through practical accounting and commercial insight.
Experience and approach
- A strong accounting background and commercial mindset are important.
- Agricultural experience would be excellent but is not required.
- ERP implementation experience would be helpful but is not required.
- The employer values curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
- The employer values using AI as a tool to improve work.
Work arrangement
- Initially office-based while learning the operation and building relationships.
