Job Responsibilities
:
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
- : Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- General Ledger
- : Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with the monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Financial Reporting
- : Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they align with company standards.
- Reconciliations
- : Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Tax Compliance
- : Support in preparing VAT/GST returns and other tax filings, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Audit Support
- : Assist in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and transparency.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
- : Aid in the preparation of budget reports and financial forecasts, tracking performance against budgets.
- Process Improvement
- : Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions for greater efficiency in accounting tasks.
- Collaboration
- : Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and resolve any accounting issues that may arise.
- Compliance
- : Ensure that all accounting processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
