Management Accountant (Data Analytics) - Minto, South-West Sydney

The Position

Redox is seeking a data-driven Management Accountant to join the finance team in Minto, South-West Sydney. You will combine core accounting principles with advanced data analytics to transform complex financial and operational data into actionable strategic insights. Apply your skills and experience in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence, you will play a key role in cost accounting and variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and building dynamic reporting dashboards that guide operational efficiency and business growth.

The successful applicant will be employed full-time on a 12 month fixed-term contract, working out of our Minto head office with the flexibility to work from home 1 day/week post-probation.

The Role

Mine large datasets from ERP systems to spot trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities.

Apply predictive modeling techniques to improve the accuracy of cash flow and revenue projections.

Automate and streamline routine month-end close and reporting tasks using advanced data tools and scripts.

Design, build, and maintain automated financial dashboards and interactive reports using tools like Power BI.

Utilize descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive data analytics to uncover spending patterns, risks, and profitability drivers.

About you

The successful applicant will be meticulous, organised, with a strong analytical mind and high attention to detail.

3-5 years’ experience in management accounting practice

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field

Expertise in financial modelling, power query, and complex data manipulation

Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI

Ability to translate complex data analytics into clear, non-technical business language for various stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
