Managed Account Trader - 12 Month Contract

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming SMA instructions from third-party managers and internal portfolio managers.
• Update models, generate market trades, and coordinate larger orders with the trading desk.
• Query daily asset movement and consolidate bulk trading lists for execution.
• Calculate FX exposure and arrange rates for cross-currency transactions.
• Identify and rebalance accounts with excess cash quarterly; quality-check trades.
• Download and distribute weekly and monthly reports; support fee-based account projects and platforms.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree.
• At least two years of model-based discretionary account trading experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; ability to learn applications.
• CSC and CPH completion is an asset; familiarity with Dataphile, Croesus, or a similar provider is an asset.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability; effective service, attention to detail, deadline management, and communication etiquette.

Compensation

• Salary range is $60,000–$65,000 annually, plus performance bonuses or incentives.

Employment

• The role is a 12-month contract and listed as temporary full-time.
