Job purpose
Oversee day-to-day mall operations and keep the property safe, clean, presentable, and fully operational.
The role is based in Marina and works six days a week.
Daily mall operations
- Inspect common areas, entrances, corridors, parking, loading areas, service corridors, washrooms, back-of-house areas, and external areas.
- Identify maintenance defects, damage, safety concerns, and operational issues, and ensure corrective action.
- Monitor opening and closing procedures, escalate major concerns, and maintain daily operational inspection reports.
Tenants and work permits
- Act as the on-site operational contact for tenants and monitor compliance with mall rules, HSE, housekeeping, signage, and approved premises use.
- Conduct tenant inspections, issue notices or violations when required, and track rectification and records.
- Coordinate work permit applications, verify required documentation and approvals, inspect works, maintain the permit register, and escalate unsafe or unauthorized work.
Facilities and safety
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with facilities management and follow requests through completion.
- Assist with inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety systems, elevators, escalators, and other mall facilities.
- Monitor HSE compliance, keep escape routes and fire doors clear, participate in drills, report incidents, and follow up corrective actions.
Cleaning, security, and contractors
- Inspect public-area cleanliness and presentation, monitor cleaning contractors and manpower, and follow up deficiencies and waste handling.
- Coordinate contractor and tenant access, deliveries, after-hours activity, and loading operations with security.
- Monitor contractors’ permits, HSE compliance, workmanship, housekeeping, and completion inspections.
Fit-out and incident coordination
- Support tenant fit-out and alteration work by checking approved drawings, permits, technical requirements, authority approvals, and protection of common areas.
- Attend operational incidents and tenant complaints.
Schedule and work scope
- The position is based in Marina and follows a six-day work week.
- The role involves on-site inspection and coordination across mall operations, tenants, facilities, HSE, security, and contractors.
