Job Summary
The Male Nurse is responsible for providing primary healthcare services, first aid treatment, emergency medical support, and health monitoring for employees residing in the labour camp.
The role ensures the wellbeing of workers, maintains medical records, and supports occupational health and safety initiatives in compliance with company and local health regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Valid Nursing License from home country and/or Qatar licensing authority (if required).
- Certification in:
• First Aid & CPR
- Prometric and DataFlow clearance (preferred for Qatar).
Medical Care & First Aid
- Provide first aid and basic medical treatment for illnesses and injuries.
- Assess workers' health conditions and determine the need for further medical attention.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the physician.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen levels.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the camp.
Health Monitoring
- Conduct routine health assessments and wellness checks.
- Monitor workers with chronic medical conditions and ensure follow-up care.
- Identify and report communicable diseases or health concerns.
- Support vaccination and health screening programs when required.
Clinic Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the clinic.
- Ensure medical equipment is functional and properly maintained.
- Monitor stock levels of medicines, first aid supplies, and medical consumables.
- Coordinate replenishment of medical inventory.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment logs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly clinic reports.
- Record and report workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical referrals.
- Ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
Emergency & Referral Coordination
- Coordinate ambulance services and hospital referrals when necessary.
- Accompany patients to hospitals in emergency situations if required.
- Participate in emergency response drills and preparedness programs.
Health Education & Awareness
- Conduct health awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, heat stress, and disease prevention.
- Educate workers on personal health and safety practices.
- Support company health and wellness initiatives.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Ministry of Public Health regulations, and occupational health standards.
- Assist management in maintaining camp health and sanitation requirements.
- Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR60,000.00 per hour
