Maintenance Technician

Overview

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of industrial and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations while minimizing downtime.
• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment, pumps, motors, compressors, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective repairs.
• Replace worn or damaged mechanical components and assemblies.
• Assist in equipment installation, alignment, commissioning, and testing.
• Maintain lubrication schedules and monitor equipment performance.
• Support maintenance shutdowns and equipment overhauls.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, motors, control panels, MCCs, switchgear, and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, sensors, PLC-controlled systems, VFDs, and automation equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
• Maintain electrical documentation, wiring diagrams, and maintenance records.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance activities according to maintenance plans.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and spare parts records.
• Coordinate with operations and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company HSE policies and UAE regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
