About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
- routine inspection, preventive maintenance (PM), and condition monitoring
- of Cut & Bend machines and associated equipment
- Execute
- breakdown maintenance
- with quick fault identification to minimize production downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair:
- Electrical systems: control panels, motors, drives (VFDs), sensors, limit switches, encoders
- Mechanical systems: gearboxes, bearings, chains, couplings, rollers, straightening units
- Read and interpret
- electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical schematics
- Carry out
- alignment, lubrication, tightening, and calibration activities
- for optimal machine performance
- Support
- installation, commissioning, and trial runs
- of new machines or upgraded systems
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities to supervisors with proper documentation
- Maintain
- maintenance logs, checklists, and daily reports
- in line with plant requirements
- Ensure availability and proper usage of
- tools, spares, and consumables
- Follow
Lockout-Tagout (LOTO)
- and all safety procedures during maintenance work
- Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance without impacting output targets
- Assist in
- root cause analysis (RCA)
- and implementation of corrective/preventive actions
