Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance, planning, scheduling, reliability, operations, or related refinery experience. Education Level A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP required. Proficiency in the use of Prometheus or a similar maintenance scheduling tool preferred. Candidates should have strong communication skills, ability to facilitate large meetings, and have a continuous improvement mindset. PREFERRED: Knowledge of refinery operations and maintenance. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility Depending on location, may provide occasional relief supervisor responsibilities of hourly maintenance employees for various foremen, or direct supervision of five salaried employees and leadership and indirect supervision to other salaried employees of the maintenance department and hourly employees as needed. Work Conditions Office and field based with up to 5% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment, and driver based environment, including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment and working in confined spaces. Subject to varying road and weather conditions. Periodic overtime required. Required to respond to plant related emergencies and be available after hours during critical business situations depending on location.
