Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Ensure maintenance activities are planned, scheduled, completed, documented, and tracked for effectiveness. Establish processes to address overdue or deferred maintenance and escalate risks as needed. Partner with Production to coordinate maintenance schedules and planned downtime. Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability. Maintain equipment history and use data to support maintenance and capital improvement decisions. Oversee spare parts inventory, crib management, and critical spare strategies while controlling costs. Lead maintenance planning and scheduling across all shifts to optimize labor, parts, and contractor resources. Communicate equipment risks, maintenance priorities, and performance metrics to plant leadership. Provide technical leadership for robotic welding systems, stamping presses, E-coat lines, conveyors, automated production equipment, and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, utility, and facility systems. Lead and develop maintenance teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in manufacturing maintenance management. Experience with preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs. Knowledge of automated production equipment, robotics, controls, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive operational improvements. Strong troubleshooting, planning, and problem-solving skills. This position plays a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the plant's long-term manufacturing objectives.
