Role Description
This part-time, on-site Maintenance Manager role is based in Dubai and is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations across facilities and equipment.
The Maintenance Manager will plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance and repair activities to ensure assets are safe, reliable, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
include coordinating preventive maintenance plans, assigning tasks to maintenance staff and contractors, monitoring work quality, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
The role also involves diagnosing equipment issues, prioritizing corrective actions, managing spare parts inventory, and recommending improvements to maintenance processes.
The Maintenance Manager will collaborate with operations and safety teams to minimize downtime, support inspections and audits, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance Management and Preventive Maintenance skills to plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess solid Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills to diagnose issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills to lead maintenance teams, coordinate contractors, and oversee daily operations.
- Experience in facility or industrial maintenance within transportation, traffic, infrastructure, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in maintenance and asset management is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively on-site are required.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, maintenance, or a related field, along with applicable certifications, is an advantage.
