Maintenance Engineer

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, with mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled expertise.
• Demonstrated experience managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) systems and maintenance schedules.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements, regulations, and best practices within an engineering environment.
• Excellent fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Experience coordinating and managing contractors, service providers, and external suppliers.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of maintenance activities.
• High attention to detail, with a strong focus on compliance, documentation, and adherence to procedures.
• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline, with familiarity of UK regulations such as PUWER, LOLER, and HSE standards; engineering apprenticeship desirable.
