Maintenance Engineer / Facilities supervisor , Reliability Maintenance Engineering

Role overview

Shift pattern

• The role may involve non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends.

Maintenance and equipment

• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance for fulfillment center assets, including material handling and automation systems.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot controls and mechanical equipment, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors, scanners, drives, sorters, rolls, bearings, and belts.
• Oversee conveyor system maintenance, maintenance work, and subcontractors.
• Ensure facility systems checks are implemented through a computerized maintenance management system.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for material handling equipment and building maintenance.

Safety and facility operations

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations and promote safe working practices across the site.
• Manage engineering and facility services, including housekeeping and premises upkeep.
• Manage environmental, health, and safety compliance, waste and hazardous waste management, and timely license renewals.

Team support

• Support technicians through coaching, motivation, and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain working relationships across organizational levels and provide feedback to improve individual performance.
• Prioritize work and manage resources under high-pressure conditions.

Basic qualification

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics and communication, or instrumentation and controls.

Preferred qualification

• Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks is preferred.
