Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for HVAC, LV, and ELV systems
- Operate and maintain HVAC equipment including chillers, AHUs, pumps, and VRV units
- Operate and maintain LV Power & Lighting, Elevator, sliding door, and ELV systems
- Prepare and manage spare parts for equipment maintenance
- Prepare RCA reports and propose preventive measures
- Prepare Scope Of Work (SOW) and tender documentation for sub contractors
- Supervise sub contractors and ensure compliance with scope of work
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians
- Prepare work permits and risk assessments
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure SAP module is updated
Requirements
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical or HVAC
- 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, HVAC Maintenance Engineer or equivalent
- O&M Skill of HVAC, LV, Plumbing, and ELV Systems
- Read and comprehend HVAC drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of all Building structures and services

Job Summary and Purpose
- The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for proper functioning of all HVAC equipment and building services in the yard and main people buildings.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for HVAC, LV, and ELV systems
- Operate and maintain HVAC equipment including dehumidifiers, chillers, AHUs, pumps, fan coil units, VRV units, ACCU units, window AC, split AC, and ventilation systems
- Operate and maintain LV Power & Lighting, Elevator, sliding door, Dock leveler, BMU, and ELV systems (Access Control, Barrier gate, Intercom)
- Operate and maintain plumbing equipment including potable water booster pumps, circulation pumps, water heaters
- Prepare and manage spare parts for equipment maintenance
- Support Head of Maintenance in preparing maintenance strategies to reduce failure rates
- Prepare RCA reports and proposals for preventing repeat failures
- Prepare SOW, SOS, and tender documentation for sub contractors
- Supervise sub contractors and ensure compliance with scope of work
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians
- Prepare work permits and risk assessments
- Maintain maintenance records
Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical or HVAC
- 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, HVAC Maintenance Engineer or equivalent
- O&M Skill of HVAC, LV, Plumbing, and ELV Systems
- Read and comprehend HVAC drawings and schematics
- Understand HVAC systems and components
- Capable of reviewing HVAC calculations and technical data
- Capable of examining existing HVAC systems to determine condition and identify improvements
- Knowledge of all Building structures and services
- Ability to learn new systems
- Perform shipyard maintenance operations
- Carry out facility management
- Planning and Organizing Skills
