Role Description
The Maintenance Electrician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role involves performing routine and corrective electrical maintenance on equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Day-to-day tasks include inspecting electrical systems, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
The Maintenance Electrician will respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, replace or repair components, and verify that all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
The role also includes maintaining accurate maintenance records, coordinating with other technical staff, and supporting continuous improvement of facility operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and general Electricity principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including planning and executing scheduled inspections and servicing.
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in industrial or facilities maintenance, preferably within multi-site or complex building environments.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and the ability to work safely with tools, equipment, and live systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
