Role Description
The Maintenance Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah.
The role involves coordinating day-to-day maintenance activities, including scheduling and tracking preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment and facilities.
The Maintenance Coordinator will liaise with maintenance teams, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of work orders and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, monitoring spare parts inventory, and supporting compliance with safety and quality standards.
The role also requires assisting with planning maintenance budgets, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance to oversee the upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management to plan, schedule, and monitor ongoing maintenance programs.
- Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills to guide maintenance teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field is preferred.
- Experience in facilities or industrial maintenance coordination, ideally within MEP or similar environments.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of maintenance software or CMMS systems and basic MS Office skills.
- Awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations and commitment to safe work practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
