Sigma Engineering Works, part of Mazrui Energy Services, is hiring CNC Lathe or HBM Operators for its machine shop.
The work location is Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Operate conventional machines and/or program and operate CNC machines while meeting quality requirements.
- Store and handle tooling and equipment according to company procedures.
- Use inspection equipment proficiently.
- Machine workpieces to instructions and engineering drawings.
- Apply knowledge of material grades and consumable tooling codes.
- Operate machinery safely and productively, follow HSE practices and corporate procedures.
- Work accurately to drawings with minimum supervision.
- Seek to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Recognized secondary school qualification.
- Minimum practical workshop experience is stated as 4–6 years; the separate experience field specifies 3 years of machinist experience as required.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and select suitable cutting tools and cutting parameters.
- A recognized higher technical college diploma is preferred but not essential.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,500 per month.
