Role Overview
This role has a focus on machinery operations and is responsible for servicing and maintaining large broadacre machinery, and earthmoving equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Operation and basic maintenance of a wide variety of station plant and machinery, including graders, loaders, telehandlers and tractors.
• General earthmoving
• Planters and tillage
• Trucks
• Dozers

Skills and Experience
- Competent operation and maintenance of various station; machinery/equipment. • General station and machinery maintenance experience. • Relevant earthmoving experience, including operating a grader (tickets preferred); • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, including comprehending complex directions to various parts of the property • Production animal experience, including livestock handling, health and welfare. • Strong ability to problem solve. • Strong ethic towards keeping machinery in a tidy and orderly fashion. • Ability to observe general property needs, i.e. fencing, livestock health. • Fencing, stock water and general maintenance skills, including the ability to know and report that cattle are in their correct paddocks and herd. • A strong work ethic and commitment to working safely. • Hold a current Class C driver’s licence. (Truck licence would be an advantage); • A genuine passion for Agriculture

Requirements
