Machine Operator

Duties and Responsibilities

• * Operate machinery according to production standards, work instructions, and safety procedures
• * Set up and adjust equipment for production runs (e.g., loading materials, setting speeds, calibrating controls)
• * Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime
• * Inspect products during and after production to ensure quality standards are met
• * Troubleshoot minor issues and make basic adjustments to keep machines running
• * Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor or maintenance team
• * Maintain production records , including output, scrap, downtime, and quality checks
• * Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
• * Ensure compliance with safety policies and wear required PPE at all times
• * Maintain a clean work area and support housekeeping standards (5S)
• * Handle materials , including loading raw materials and moving finished goods
• * Follow supervisor and team lead instructions and remain in assigned work areas
• Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math and reading skills to follow work instructions and record data
• Ability to operate or learn to operate production machinery
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Good communication skills and ability to follow supervisor directions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (typically up to 25–50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks
• Flexibility to work overtime, and weekends as needed
