Machine Operator I-1st Shift (Bar Lines)

The Machine Operator I operates and maintains a single machine or machine line, ensuring efficient operation with minimal supervision while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.

Set up, load, and monitor machinery to ensure efficient operation.

Follow work orders, quality requirements, and sanitation procedures, including cleanup and changeovers.

Direct and instruct machine line personnel on specific job duties.

Perform pre-operational equipment checks.

Utilizing chemicals/soap/Clorox and other equipment.

Create pallet ID labels and verify all materials and products before use on the production line. Complete daily PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment inspections to maintain safety.

Meet or exceed production, quality, and safety standards.

Clean machinery following production runs and changeovers.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Experience

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Previous industrial truck experience preferred.

Previous machine operator experience preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Basic math skills.

Ability to read, write, and speak English preferred.

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

Good manual dexterity, vision, and mobility.

Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, move, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
