Machine Operator

Description

Responsibilities

• Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties
• Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
• Effectively monitor and operate equipment and machinery for production
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
• Perform related duties and fulfill responsibilities as required
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Knowledge of methods, equipment, and materials as they relate to the type of work being performed.
• knowledge of machines in a manufacturing environment
• Team-oriented and self-directed
• Communication skills
• Committed to quality and safety.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position.
• Must pass drug screening and background check
• Must be able to perform other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager
• Familiar with quality inspection
• Must be able to work continental shift that rotates 6 weeks days, 6 weeks night, repeat
