Machine Learning Engineer

The Opportunity

Role Responsibilities

• Train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data.
• Conduct statistical analyses on business processes using machine learning techniques.
• Define and implement AI solutions that enable faster mission success.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners.
• Guide clients through machine learning algorithms, tools, and frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in artificial intelligence, data science, or machine learning engineering, including model development and deployment.
• Experience with Python and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with a common programming language such as Python, C++, Rust, or Java.
• Experience with deep learning, computer vision, or generative AI.
• Experience with data handling and model development.
• Experience using AI productivity tools for coding, such as Cursor.
• Ability to solve client issues and problems.
• TS/SCI clearance and a bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning.

Compensation

• The projected annualized compensation range is $77,600 to $176,000 USD.
• Compensation depends on location, education, skills, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements.
