Lube Technician - North Post/Meikle

Duties and Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the site master mechanic, our lube technicians are tasked with safely and efficiently fueling and servicing underground equipment. Those responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Safe operation of service/fuel truck
• Fueling and performing lube changes to equipment in the field
• Collecting oil samples from all equipment components
• Maintaining inventory of oil, filters, and other necessary supplies and parts
• Assisting diesel mechanics with basic repairs
• Diagnosing and reporting necessary equipment repairs
• Coordinating service activities with maintenance team
• Executing planned work orders
• Keeping maintenance records via our CMMS
• Hazard recognition and mitigation
• Participation in risk assessments and following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Conducting thorough pre-operational inspections on equipment

Applicants must

Beneficial Skills but not required

• Operation experience of underground support equipment, e.g., skid steers, forklifts, manlifts and other equipment.
