Role overview

Location and schedule

• Location options are Mumbai, Bangalore, or Pune, with a hybrid arrangement requiring 12 days per month.
• Shift timings are UK shift.

Responsibilities

• Develop application features and participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, planning, estimation, design, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Work with Business Analysts and the Product Owner to understand functionality to be developed.
• Follow coding, review, testing, UX, automated testing, governance, technical, and design standards.
• Maintain development skills and use AI productivity tools, including GitHub Copilot, responsibly.
• Own complex features, break down ambiguous requirements, identify risks and dependencies, and define practical delivery approaches.
• Design robust solutions and balance maintainability, scalability, security, performance, user experience, and technical debt.
• Influence technical decisions, mentor developers, review code and designs, and take ownership of production issues through prevention and improvement.

Essential experience and skills

• 8+ years developing enterprise client-server desktop applications, with evidence of senior-level capability and impact.
• Demonstrated independent delivery of complex features and end-to-end ownership of technical outcomes.
• Experience designing robust, scalable, maintainable solutions and mentoring developers through reviews and coaching.
• C#, .NET Framework 4.8, and .NET 8 or later.
• WPF, XAML, SQL Server database design and development, and Windows System Services.
• Object-oriented design and development, including patterns such as MVVM.
• RESTful APIs, web services, API-driven architectures, service-layer patterns, and repository patterns.
