LPN II

• DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of a Professional Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center clinical services.

• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.

Education and Training: Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.

License, Certification & Registration : LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse BLS Other Requirements: Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations.

Assures compliance with unit-specific scope of practice.
