Long-Term Substitute Middle School Math & Science Teacher
Role Overview
The Montessori Academy of Colorado (MAC) is seeking a dedicated and adaptable educator to serve as a Long-Term Substitute Math and Science Teacher for our Middle School students (Grades 6–8).
The assignment runs from approximately February to April for about three months.
This role is essential to keep students' learning continuous and on track during the lead teacher's absence and to ensure a smooth handoff when the lead teacher returns.

Qualifications
- Strong content knowledge in middle school mathematics and science (required).
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, a science field, education, or a related field; valid teaching certification preferred.
- Experience teaching middle school students.
- Proven ability to step into an existing classroom dynamic with professionalism and ease.
- Prior experience in a Montessori setting, or a strong willingness to follow Montessori guiding principles.
- Commitment to the full duration of the assignment.
