Long-Term Caregiver Needed – Rancho Santa Fe
Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver for a male client in Rancho Santa Fe.
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Long-term, ongoing position
Care needs include
Assistance with morning routine and personal care
Standby assistance with showering and toileting
Meal preparation and medication reminders
Mobility and fall-risk supervision
Light housekeeping and occasional errands
Companionship and safety monitoring
The client has Parkinson’s and dementia. Applicants must be reliable, patient, comfortable providing hands-on assistance, and have a valid driver’s license.

Client Information
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable CNA caregiver for a male client with advanced Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
The client uses a walker and is unsteady, forgetful, and at high risk for falls. He remains independent with dressing, grooming, and most personal care but requires close supervision and non-medical assistance to remain safe at home.
Responsibilities
- Provide standby assistance with showers and personal hygiene
- Assist with safe mobility while using his walker
- Follow fall precautions and closely monitor his safety
- Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands
- Offer companionship and meaningful engagement
- Provide general supervision and well-being checks
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification
- Strong professional caregiving experience
- Experience with Parkinson’s disease and dementia preferred
- Knowledge of fall prevention and safety precautions
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Compassionate, patient, attentive, and dependable
- Able to pass a background check
- Committed to a consistent, long-term schedule
