Role purpose
Supervise daily logistics and warehouse operations to support supply-chain objectives.
Ensure efficient inventory management, timely distribution, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Job accountabilities
- Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, and dispatch, maintaining inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.
- Coordinate carriers and internal teams for timely, cost-effective transportation.
- Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory standards in warehouse operations.
- Monitor delivery, order-accuracy, and inventory-accuracy KPIs and drive improvements.
- Manage stock levels and storage layouts to improve space use and efficiency.
- Align logistics and warehousing with procurement, production, distribution, demand forecasts, and business needs.
- Train staff on procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Maintain records of inventory movements, shipments, and warehouse expenses for reporting and budget management.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Four to six years in logistics or warehouse operations, including one to two years in a supervisory role.
- FMCG or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control tools.
