  • YOUR CHALLENGE:
  • Supports the flow of inbound and outbound shipments. Identifies potential improvement in logistic workflows and participates in Lean or continuous improvement initiatives. (20%)
  • Assists with routing outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls. Supports load utilization and tracking of materials. Coordinates the distribution point of material for incoming and outgoing materials. (20%)
  • Performs basic data entry by documenting material movements and logistics records in the inventory management system. (20%)
  • Coordinates common carrier activities. Maintains customer database and profile by customer location. Maintains customer delivery time windows. (20%)
  • Communicates effectively with procurement, manufacturing, engineering and quality to support on-time material availability. Reports shortages or delays that may impact production schedules. (20%)

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • High School Diploma
  • Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, preferred.
  • Basic understanding of import/export compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferred.
  • Delivers work with accuracy and care.
