As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Specialist to manage the execution of customer orders from Purchase Order (PO) award through final delivery while supporting the development of our logistics division, Defenix Logistics.
Role Description
This is not a traditional logistics role.
The successful candidate will own the operational execution of customer orders after PO award, ensuring suppliers, freight forwarders, logistics partners, and customers remain fully aligned until successful delivery.
The role requires a proactive individual capable of coordinating multiple international shipments, resolving operational issues, maintaining documentation accuracy, and ensuring every project is delivered efficiently and professionally.
Order Execution
- Manage customer orders from Purchase Order award until successful delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers to monitor production, availability, lead times, and shipment readiness.
- Ensure timely execution of all operational milestones.
Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate international shipments with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
- Manage shipping schedules, customs documentation, import/export requirements, and delivery planning.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve logistics issues.
Customer & Supplier Coordination
- Act as the primary operational contact between suppliers, logistics providers, and customers after PO award.
- Provide regular delivery updates and maintain strong operational communication.
- Ensure all documentation is complete before customer delivery.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, delivery documentation, and operational reports.
- Maintain organized operational records and ensure compliance with customer and logistics requirements.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve execution speed, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance.
- Support the continuous development of Defenix Logistics and establish relationships with logistics partners and freight forwarders.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Import & Export, or Operations.
- Experience coordinating international shipments and supplier communications.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in aviation, defense, industrial supply chain, or project logistics is considered an advantage.
- Strong professional English communication and business writing skills
