Job Summary
OCP Vietnam Software is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations.
The role focuses on building scalable, efficient, and reliable systems that improve transportation planning, warehouse management, shipment tracking, and operational visibility for enterprise clients in the logistics domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain logistics and supply chain management software applications.
- Build and optimize systems supporting transportation management, warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipment tracking.
- Collaborate with business analysts and logistics stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop APIs and integrations with third-party logistics providers, ERP systems, and tracking platforms.
- Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and reliability across distributed environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing logistics applications and services.
- Participate in architecture design discussions and contribute to system improvement strategies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Support deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a software developer, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or enterprise systems.
- Strong proficiency in backend development (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, or Node.js).
- Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of logistics processes such as shipping, routing, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with logistics platforms, ERP systems, or TMS/WMS solutions.
- Exposure to real-time tracking systems or IoT-based logistics solutions.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
