Role Overview

Company Overview

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records and store inventory correctly and safely.
• Carry out cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings to management.
• Record stock movements using company systems and support stock takes and inventory audits.

Goods In

• Receive and inspect incoming goods, materials, and deliveries.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
• Label and store materials in designated locations and maintain goods-received records.

Goods Out

• Prepare customer orders and shipments according to company requirements.
• Package, label, and dispatch products correctly.
• Verify quantities and documentation before dispatch.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to meet delivery deadlines and maintain shipping records.
• Load and unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment and procedures.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

• Comply with StoneX Metals health and safety policies and procedures.
• Use all required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized work area.
• Report accidents, hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.

Operational Support

• Support colleagues and other departments to achieve operational targets.
• Undertake training to develop skills across multiple operational areas.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across plant and yard areas.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
• Support other departments, material movements, production tasks, and general plant operations as required.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Be health and safety conscious and willing to champion safety on the shop floor.
• Work effectively as part of a team and on one's own initiative.
• Use initiative, remain flexible and reliable, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Be willing to train on multiple pieces of plant equipment.
• An FLT certificate is advantageous.
