This role supports operational efficiency through the effective management, handling, storage, tracking, and control of tools, materials, and equipment.
This is a strong opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented logistics professional with aviation logistics experience, strong IT skills, and the ability to support urgent operational requirements in a fast-moving maintenance environment.
Position Summary
- The Logistics Operative will join a dynamic and rapidly growing team in the Middle East.
- Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day logistics operations by ensuring tools, materials, equipment, and inventory are received, stored, issued, tracked, and maintained in line with company procedures and operational requirements.
- The successful candidate will support tool stores, material stores, airside equipment control, inventory database maintenance, and urgent logistics requirements while helping ensure compliance with associated Health & Safety procedures.
- Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure all materials and equipment are received correctly and in accordance with relevant procedures
- Ensure correct storage, tagging, and calibration of tooling and equipment
- Control the issuing and storage of tools and equipment, including airside equipment
- Maintain minimum stock levels in tool stores and material stores areas in accordance with supplier delivery times
- Ensure compliance with associated Health & Safety procedures, including safe working practices and materials storage requirements
- Provide logistics support for urgent and high-priority requirements
- Assist the Logistics Lead in other functions when required
- Maintain the inventory database
Skills And Experience
- Proven working experience within a logistics environment
- Experience within an aviation logistics environment
- Proficiency in standard logistics software
- Ultramain experience would be advantageous
- Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach
- Willingness to learn
